Syrians living in Romania held a demonstration in Bucharest on September 16th in support of the uprising of their countrymen in Syria and condemning Bashar Assad’s ruthless killings against the Syrian people. The demonstrators called for the overthrow of Assad’s rule, asking for the international community’s intervention and the establishment of democracy in Syria. The demonstrators also demanded the Iranian regime and Hezbollah to stop their meddling in Syria, and condemned Russia and China’s support of Bashar Assad’s regime.
The demonstrators held pictures of Bashar Assad, Kadhafi and Khamenei with the following writing: “Yesterday Kadhafi, today Assad, tomorrow Khamenei.”
