Russia bombs U.S.-backed Syrian rebels near Jordan border: U.S. and Russian military officials on Saturday held a video conference to discuss recent Russian air strikes that hit U.S.-backed Syrian rebels, Pentagon Press Secretary Peter Cook said in a statement.
