The UN says over 5500 people have been killed in Syria since clashes broke out in March of last year. A Human Rights Council backed investigation alleged the Assad regime committed crimes against humanity and UN rights chief Navi Pillay has called on the Security Council to refer the case to the International Criminal Court.[ read more at link]
