Anti-Assad LU students rally in north
clipped from article: TRIPOLI, Lebanon: Lebanese University students staged a demonstration Wednesday in support of the uprising in Syria against President Bashar Assad in the Qibbeh neighborhood of Tripoli.
A few hundred students gathered outside the Lebanese University’s Faculty of Arts and marched in support of the Syrian people, raising banners that called on Assad and his regime to leave power, and hoisting the green, black and red pre-Baath Syrian flag.
