Middle East Updates / Report: ISIS claims responsibility for double suicide attack in Lebanon - Middle East Updates Israel News | Haaretz
"Six Syrian refugees died due to intense cold weather in refugee
camps in Lebanon, medical sources and the Lebanese Red Cross reported on
Saturday. Most of the victims resided in tents. Various groups called
out over the weekend to the international community for equipment and
aide for the Syrian refugees ahead of the severe cold wave.
In Syria, five children reportedly died in a Damascus suburb due to the
cold. It is feared that more will die, as tens of thousands are left to
deal with the harsh weather with inadequate means. (Jack Khoury)"
