I go to a Shell Gas station, and swipe my card for gas. The reader says I must bring card to attendant for support. So I bring the card to the attendant, who swipes the card again and again, telling me it says declined each time. When I get home I go online to check the card status to see why the card was declined. Only the card did not decline, and charged for the gas I did not get, again and again, until the funds on my card wiped out.
As if that is not annoying enough. I call MyVanillaVisaCard customer service. Who tell me that I have to wait 5 days for the gas station to evaluate whether the transaction for gas at the pump swiped pumped gas or not.
So Shell Gas station keep $105/00 of my money, at least for 5 days, and MyVanillaVisaCard do not support me, when I report I was ripped off. In other words, as far as MyVanillaVisa is concerned, Shell is their VIP customer, and I am just a peasant who gets abused by the system. $105. left to my name for the rest of the month, as Big Shell and MyVanillaVisa take my money for at least 5 days?
