Kudos to both of these intrepid leaders for taking on the challenge of their respective fights for freedom. Both of them are shedding a light on the one thing that links both of them together and that is the Iranian regime which is supporting Assad in Syria with weapons, fighters and cash. It’s even more galling to see that support in light of Assad’s decision to use chemical weapons on his own people, a tactic that seems to give Iran’s mullahs not a minute of concern. Which isn’t unusual when you consider the long history of human rights violations taking place in Iran on a daily basis. Mrs. Rajavi’s meeting also portends a new avenue in the long running fight for regime change in Iran by focusing a spotlight on how Iran’s continued active support abroad undermines the legitimacy of nuclear talks taking place in Geneva between Iran and the West. How can any agreement be enforceable when seen against the backdrop of Iran’s brazen commitment to such reprehensible regimes. This is just another warning that the greatest indicator of Iran’s future intent is on its present and past conduct.
