British Intervention In Syria 'Increasingly Likely': It will be difficult for Britain to avoid intervening in Syria, a former Army commander has warned Colonel Richard Kemp, who led UK forces in Afghanistan, said the escalating civil war meant it was more likely that western governments would take action to stop the bloodshed spreading to neighbouring countries.
