Bold leadership on Syrian issue: As citizens of the world's most militarily powerful nation, Americans have a natural tendency to demand forceful action when we see egregious wrongs being committed in other countries. The genocide in Rwanda comes to mind, or the massacres that followed Yugoslavia's breakup in the 1990s.
