36 martyrs so far from being shot by army and security forces, including 6 children one of them is an infant, 15 martyrs in Homs, 10 martyrs in Idlib, 5 martyrs in Hama, 3 in Daraa, 1 in Harasta & 2 in Erbeen.
In Hama, there were reports about finding 3 corpses of young men who were in a taxi when a security vehicle stopped them. In Homs 2 corpses were found dumped in a trash container near the checkpoint of Rastan. In Homs also a baby was pronounced dead after severe bleeding in his colon after security refused to allow blood to be delivered to hospital.
In Damascus, the people of Barzeh went to the funerals of five of yesterday's massacre, which gathered more than 3000 mourners. Mourning state and a general strike was declared for 3 days in honour of the souls of the martyrs. It was made known to us that security forces and army troops are still besieging all entrances to the area and have installed checkpoints and traps on some of the roads.
Shelling and heavy shooting at homes continued in several areas including: in Homs: Bab Dreib and Alqusoor neighbourhoods; in Hama: Alqusoor; in Daraa: Khirbet Ghazaleh; and in Idleb: Khan Sheihoun, where helicopters were used.
Also, both Harasta and Saqba in Damascus suburbs witnessed fierce battles after members of the military defected there. There were reports of heavy shooting in Maaret Alnoman in Idleb accompanied by a wide invasion and arrest campaign. Members of the security forces and army carried out a large detention campaign that included Damascus Suburbs (Saqba, Zabadani, Kisweh, Douma and Harasta), Homs, Hama, Daraa, Sweida and many other areas. The number of those who were detained is estimated at hundreds.
Today also witnessed an increase of the number of strikes, where a strike was declared in
Damascus suburbs: Kanaker, Zabadani, Madaya, Douma, Saqba, Harasta, Al-Dhumai, Al-Kiswa, Hamoria, KfarBatna, Erbin, Darayya, Qudsayya, and Tal.
Hama: Hama, KfarZeita, Khattab, SahlelGhab, Halyan, Al-Madiq citadel, Tibet Al-Imam, Morek, Souran and Qaston.
Daraa: Da'el, Busra El-Sham, Kherbet Ghazala, Al-Jiza, Nimr, Jassem, Tafas, Al-Herak, Ibta', Al-Mseifra, Milhiyat Al-Sharqiya, Inkhel
Homs: Talkalakh, Talbisseh, Al-Rastan, Al-Houla, Al-Qusair
Banyas, Qamishli, Amouda, and Latakia
Aleppo suburbs: Mare', Tal Rifat, Andan
Damascus: Jober, Barzeh and Midan

A nighttime demonstration started in the Jarajeh area; security forces fired heavy gunfire on participants.
